I'm Rachel Blaze, better known as the Ambassador of Combat Sports. I have been in combat sports for over 10 years.
I did media work and I was basically a media personality for MMA and boxing. I've done years of modelling. I am published, getting ready to be on the cover of another book that's internationally published. I started a nonprofit called unity fighters first foundation that's geared for kids and athletes.
In 2012 I decided I needed something more in my life than just being a wife and mother so I took up weight lifting and ultimately took on bodybuilding as a figure competitor.
I did that for 3 years and by 2015, after a ton of consideration and (what I thought was) a lot of research, I decided to get breast implants. I was hoping to feel more like a “woman”.
“Breast implant illness is not really to do with the brand or type of implant that you have. Breast implant illness occurs in all brands and both saline and silicone implants and is a very multifaceted illness.
For both saline and silicone breast implants a strong and immediate response to the silicone shell directly after implantation may be predicated by your genes specifically HLA B27, HLA DR52 and HLA DR53 which are genes associated with being ill in the first year after implantation and a higher sensitivity to silicone.”
