Therapy Tips for Breast Implant Illness - BII
Through my journey of BII, I found what helped me through the pain and inflammation was, epsom salt HOT baths!
I was having up to 4 baths a day when I was going downhill. I would also take msm heat cream and rub it all over my body when I got out of the bath. It would go deep into the muscles. I took magnesium 3x a day. For anxiety I started taking Inositol powder form supplement from True Hope over Ativan. I would make a green smoothie with hemp seeds and organic blueberries and a big scoop of my fermented vegan powder, as I was losing my appetite, so I made sure to drink this everyday. I would make myself go a block to the beach and put my feet in the cold sand and run my hands back in forth in the ocean and cry and pray for help... I would tell myself, ‘help is on its way, help is on its way.”
I found Essential oils helped soothe me a bit before bed, while I listened to a guided meditation for dealing with trauma. This is when my breathing 4/7/8 would come in! I would take rescue remedy for night to help with my awful sleeps. I was trying so hard not to take morphine and the sleeping pills (which I’ve never taken before!) It was so hard to get comfortable, there was always something going off inside my body!
